Pride of the Philippine cuisine


This kind of cuisine is one that signifies Philippines. Wherever you go around the country, you can always meet this stuff which in fact considered as one of the Philippine's famous cuisine. This stuff is famously called "Lechon", which is mostly seen in occasions like fiestas, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, blessings and more. Some of the foreigners were wondering what this stuff taste like and where it was originated. The word "Lechon" is indeed a Spanish word for suckling pig, this famous yummy dish actually became part of the Philippine history since the occupation of Spaniards long time ago. Since then until now, lechon became the most popular dish in the Philippines which is in fact the highlight of whatever Philippine occasions. Today, rampant of Filipinos (Philippine locales) establishing lechon business which is one of the favorite dish of the Filipinos. In fact, foreigners who have been to Philippines and tasted lechon found it truly amazing and taste good.

The Miraculous "Birhen sa Cutta"

This miraculous statue of Virgin Mary is located somewhere in Ozamis, Philippines. It is miraculous since it grows out from the stone shaping the image of Virgin Mary of which they called now “Birhen sa Cutta”. There are many who have known this incredible image in the Philippines however there are only a few who have discovered this interesting statue out of the country. I think this is one of the hidden treasures of the Philippines which we should be proud of.


Church where Dr. Jose Rizal attended mass

This incredible old time church is where Dr. Jose Rizal attended mass during the time he was exiled in Dapitan. There are only a few who have known this church which can be considered as one of the hidden treasures of the Philippines. This church does not only shows impressive and fascinating facade but it can also be the source of some of the Philippine's historical events whom our national hero was involved.
